Ivona Dragičević,

I was born on the 30th of August, 1988. in Zagreb. In 2013 I graduated from the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology in Zagreb. From the end of 2013 I worked as a sports nutritionist at GNK Dinamo Zagreb, where my role was twofold:

  • influence the choice and nutritional behavior in terms of chronic disease prevention in later age
  • planning in accordance with contemporary sports nutrition knowledge.

Since 2018 I am the owner of Nutrition ID, specialized for nutrition consulting.

Sports success is a combination of three factors: genetics, training, and reasonable access to nutrition. Unfortunately, genetics cannot be influenced, but we still have two other factors we can control: training and nutrition. I work with athletes to analyze their diet and plan short-term and long-term nutrition goals by taking into account their physiological and biochemical characteristics and develop strategies for achieving the given goals.

In addition to my knowledge of nutrition, I am also able to identify an adequate supplement strategy for my athletes as I have also been working in the pharmacy industry.

Today, the market is overwhelmed by supplements of questionable quality, safety and efficiency. Professional athletes are often the target group of dietary supplement manufacturers and often receive questionable information and are not able to estimate whether or not the dietary supplement is beneficial and safe. If someone is not an expert and does not know the exact effect, potential benefit and damage of a particular supplement, it is almost impossible to reach the goals of professional athletes with the help of supplementation.

In my current business engagement, I have gained the knowledge and valuable experience of two closely related professional branches (nutrition and pharmacy) whose knowledge is essential for achieving success.


I am so happy with my diet plan. It surprised me how much you can actually eat when everything is well balanced, that you don't have to give up anything (not even sweets!) and you are still losing fat and making your body feel great! I really am full of energy every day!
